1. Introduction

Superday AI ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our investment banking interview preparation platform, including our website (superdayai.com) and mobile application (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, full name, school or university, graduation year, and interview preparation preferences (focus areas, target bank tiers, target firms).

Authentication Data

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from those providers. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Usage Data

We collect practice session data, quiz responses and answers, mock interview transcripts and scores, mastery mode evaluations, audio lesson progress, AI coach chat messages, saved questions, and study notes.

Resume Data

If you upload your resume, we store the PDF file, extract its text content, and may generate an AI analysis of its contents. You can delete your resume and all associated data at any time within the app.

Networking Data

If you use the networking feature, we store contact information you manually enter (names, firms, titles, LinkedIn URLs). If you scan a business card or screenshot, the image is processed to extract contact details.

Voice Data

During mock interviews, your device's speech recognition may transcribe your spoken answers into text. Raw audio is processed on your device and is not stored or transmitted. Only the transcribed text is sent to our servers for evaluation.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe (web) and Apple App Store (iOS) via RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card numbers or banking information. We receive subscription status, plan type, and billing period dates.

Analytics Data

We collect usage analytics including screen views, feature interactions, and app lifecycle events. This data is linked to your user account to help us improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Personalize your learning experience and adjust difficulty levels
• Evaluate your answers using AI and provide feedback
• Track your progress and provide performance analytics
• Process transactions and manage subscriptions
• Send service updates and communications (you may opt out)
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
• Develop new features and improve our platform

4. How We Use Artificial Intelligence

Superday AI uses third-party AI services to power core features of the app. Before using any AI-powered features, we ask for your explicit consent.

What We Share with AI Providers

To deliver personalized feedback and coaching, we send the following data to our AI provider:

• Your Mastery Mode drill answers — for AI-powered evaluation and scoring
• Your Mock Interview answers and session data — for realistic interview feedback
• Your AI Coach chat messages — to provide conversational coaching responses
• Your resume content — when you request AI resume analysis
• Business card images — when you scan cards for contact extraction

Who Receives Your Data

Our AI features are powered by OpenAI. Your content listed above is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their API data usage policy, which states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.

What We Do NOT Share with AI Providers

We do not send your email address, password, payment information, or account credentials to any AI provider.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — Database hosting, user authentication, and file storage. Stores your account data, learning progress, and uploaded files.
• OpenAI — AI processing. Your chat messages, interview responses, resume text, and mastery mode answers are sent to OpenAI to generate evaluations, feedback, and coaching responses. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policy.
• PostHog — Analytics. Receives your user ID, email address, screen views, and interaction events to help us understand how the Service is used and improve it. PostHog does not sell your data or use it for advertising.
• RevenueCat — iOS subscription management. Receives your user ID to manage App Store subscriptions and entitlements.
• Stripe — Payment processing for web subscriptions. Handles billing securely.
• Apple App Store — Processes iOS in-app purchase payments.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your practice sessions, scores, or personal information with recruiters, employers, or any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Beyond our service providers listed above, we may share your information:

• When required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Superday AI or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with prior notice)

7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen, which permanently removes all your data including your profile, learning history, resume, and chat history. You may also request deletion by contacting support@superdayai.com.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States, where our service providers (Supabase, OpenAI, PostHog, RevenueCat) operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access and obtain a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for processing

11. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses essential cookies for session management and preferences. We use PostHog for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites or apps.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date.
